東京都出身。桐朋学園大学音楽学部卒業、同大学オーケストラアカデミーを修了したのち渡欧、ベルギーのアントワープ王立音楽院とモンス王立音楽院に学ぶ。 これまでにウィーンモデルン現代音楽祭、ISCM World New Music Days 2013、Il Bienal Musical Hoje 現代音楽祭（ブラジル）、OaarWurm現代音楽祭（ベルリン）、Sluchalnia 現代音楽祭（ポーランド）、リンツ現代音楽祭（オーストリア）、ハニャン現代音楽祭（ソウル）、Musica Polonica Nova 現代音楽祭（ポーランド）等、数々の音楽祭に招聘されるほか、ウィーン楽友協会、ウィーンコンチェルトハウス、在オーストリア日本大使公邸、在日本オーストリア大使公邸、在ウズベキスタン日本大使公邸において演奏。数々のプロジェクトに招聘され、Peter Ablinger や Bernhard Lang の新作をはじめ、国内外で多くの新曲を初演する。 また、2019年には新作を含むバスクラリネット独奏曲のみによるリサイタルを行うなど、クラリネットのための作品を現代の作曲家へ委嘱・ 初演し、新たなレパートリーの開拓に意欲的に取り組んでいる。東京芸術劇場主催公演においてダンサーの勅使川原三郎氏、佐東利穂子氏、ソプラノ歌手のマリアンヌ・プスール とシェーンベルクの《月に憑かれたピエロ》を共演するなど、他ジャンルのアーティストとの活動も積極的に行なっている。葛飾区亀有の『絵と言葉のライブラリー ミッカ』において、絵本の朗読と新作楽曲のコラボレーションシリーズ『ブラボー音楽隊！』に参加し、子供たちに新しい音楽を届ける活動にも力を入れる。 第11回ピエトロ・アルジェント国際音楽コンクール室内楽部門第1位（イタリア）、第4回マルコ・フィオリンド国際音楽コンクール室内楽部門第3位（イタリア）、第5回パドヴァ国際音楽コンクール室内楽部門第3位（イタリア）、夏期国際音楽アカデミーにおいてバルトーク賞を受賞（ウィーン）。 Jess Trio Wien、ソリストとしてサヴァリア交響楽団ソムバトヘイ（ハンガリー）と共演。オーケストラ奏者としてバーデン市立歌劇場管弦楽団、ドイツ・ヴュルテンベルクフィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ウィーン 20世紀アンサンブル等に客演。 2012年、col-legno Label（コル・レーニョレーベル）より、 Platypus Selected Works Vol. I-IVをリリース。2014年にはギター奏者の熊谷俊之と"itodo"を 結成し2015年にアルバム"Oirakanari"をリリース。2016年、作曲家ルーカス・ハーゼルベック作品集の録音に参加（ORFレーベル）。 東京学芸大学、洗足学園音楽大学およびハニャン大学（ソウル）、ウズベキスタン国立音楽院においてマスタークラス、現代音楽奏法のレクチャーを行う。 これまでにクラリネットを鈴木良昭、井上靖夫、中真人、四戸世紀、ワルター・ブイケンス、ロナルド・ヴァン・スパンドンクの各氏に、室内楽をアヴォ・クユムジャンに師事。マスタークラス にてウーリッヒ・ベーツ（アベックトリオ）、シャンドール・デヴィッチ、ラースロ・メゾ（バルトーク 弦楽四重奏団）、ヨーゼフ・クルーソン（プラハ弦楽四重奏団）の各氏に師事。 現在、Phidias Trio Tokyo、green room players、Ensemble Platypus（ウィーン）のクラリネット奏者。

Born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Orchestra Academy of Toho Gakuen School of Music, he moved to Europe to study at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Antwerp and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Mons. He has been invited to many music festivals. He has been invited to participate in a number of projects, He has premiered many new works both in Japan and abroad, including Peter Ablinger and Bernhard Lang’s. Jess Trio Wien, soloist with the Savaria Symphony Orchestra Sombathei (Hungary) Co-performer. As an orchestral musician, he has performed with the Baden Opera Orchestra, Germany, and with the Deutsche Grammophon. He has been a guest of the Württemberg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna 20th Century Ensemble, among others. In 2012, he released a new album [Platypus Selected Works Vol. I-IV] from the col-legno Label. He formed [itodo] with guitarist Toshiyuki Kumagai and in 2015 they released an album”Oirakanari”. He has given master classes and lectures on contemporary music performance at Tokyo Gakugei University, Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Hanyang University (Seoul) and the Uzbekistan State Conservatory of Music. He has studied clarinet with Yoshiaki Suzuki, Yasuo Inoue, Masato Naka, Seiki Yoto, Walter Vuikens, and He studied chamber music with Ronald Van Spandtke and Avo Kouyoumjian, and in the master classes with Uhlich Bates (Avec Trio), Chandor Devic, and Avo Koumjian. At master classes, he studied with Ulrich Bates (Avec Trio), Chandor Devic and László Mezzo (Bartók String Quartet) and Josef Kreuzon (Prague String Quartet). He is currently a clarinetist with Phidias Trio Tokyo, green room players and Ensemble Platypus (Vienna).
